Paper Dolls, Scary Bead Patterns and Budget Costumes for You

EEK!!

Beading pattern - peyote or brick stitch
based on Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein'

If you have never taken the opportunity to watch the old black and white 'horror' films, many of them put out by Hammer, and described as "Hammer Horror",
you are missing out
seriously!
Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney should be names known to you.

So should "Nosferatu", the original, silent Dracula!

'Count Catula' by Elizabeth Scarborough
assume that this pattern is for private, personal use,
not to be duplicated or published or made for sale.

I promised Paper Doll Costumes for today,
so here they are for your enjoyment:

This is a Super-Fantastic set of paperdolls to use for making your own costumes!

First,
I mean for you to take the dolls and make tons more clothes for them!
They are in a variety of positions to fit any skill level.
Don't forget to add the tabs before cutting out!

Second,
I mean these costumes are chock-full of ideas
for you to make costumes for you!

Don't fall into that trap of
seeing yourself coming and going
because everyone else purchased the same pre-made costume as you did!
Take the leap!
Make your own!

c.1918, World War I

Oh, and adding fake blood to any costume is just cheesy.
I mean really.
Bloody Bride? It's been overdone.
Bloody Cheerleader? It's been overdone.
Bloody Ghost? (which actually defies any explanation) overdone.
BUT
Have you seen scads of Queen of Tarts?
Robin Hood with Maid Marion?
Mother Goose?
the Van Trap Family?
the list goes on.....all originals!!
:0)

Here are some more ideas to spark your creativity:

And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
Good Lord, deliver us!"
